The CAHR project is in perfect alignment with Warren Buffett's concept of inspiring the super-wealthy to give away a portion of their wealth to worthwhile causes.
It also demonstrates how a non profit foundation and a for-profit corporation can work as partners. It's the nation's first functioning example of the New Corporate World Win-Win Business Structure.
The Super-Wealthy Infrastructure and Environmental Assistance Project is the format we are using.
Restoring the Sacramento - San Joaquin river delta area, is our pilot project.
The goal is to inspire super-wealthy individuals and major corporations to participate is the CAHR Foundation project. (The California Aqueduct Headwaters Restoration Project) Why? Because the headwaters area of the California aqueduct is a financial, environmental, and social disaster just waiting to happen. Because this area provides water for 25 million people in southern and central California. That water source could be shut off for about two years by a 6.4 or higher earthquake in or near San Francisco or by a major winter storm. Because this project will generate wealth, abundance, and money for the donors and everyone else as well. At the same time, it solves major environmental and economic problems.
